How it works
Specification
We write down what is actually being bought: material, dimensions, tolerance, certification and packaging, before asking anyone for a price.
Supplier qualification
We check registration, production capacity, export history and references, and we treat a low quote from an unverified source as a warning sign.
Samples and approval
We order samples against the written specification and approve or reject in writing, keeping a sealed reference sample.
Order and inspection
We place the order with agreed payment terms and arrange pre-shipment inspection before the balance is released.
Frequent questions
Why not order directly from an online marketplace?
You can, but you carry the verification risk yourself. Most import problems come from a specification that was never written down and a supplier nobody checked.
What payment terms are normal?
A deposit with the order and the balance against shipping documents is common. Paying the full amount up front to an unverified supplier is how money disappears.
How long does sourcing take?
Qualification and sampling usually take longer than production. Allow several weeks before the first order, less on repeat orders with an approved supplier.
